Sometimes we can do things we didn’t know were possible…

I think this picture is hi-LAR-ious! The Blog Dog and I first met Dobby in Puppy Class (the difference being that Dobby is an actual puppy, and the Blog Dog is remedial), where he promptly did everything asked of him, then waited patiently for instructions. To be fair, his mom is in school to become a certified dog trainer, so he may have an advantage, but suffice it to say, he is an excellent student. So while we were shooting, his mom & dad decided to teach him to jump over the bar – that took about 3 minutes, and then waaaa-hooooo-eeeeyyyyyyy!

Huge shout-out to Affordable Dog Training

I truly cannot say enough good things about Lisa Ridens and Affordable Dog Training! Not only did she provide the fantastic models for this shoot, but Lisa has been a great support to me personally in my challenges with The Blog Dog, quirky little Bichon-ista that he is! The 6 week puppy class and some additional private training have been incredibly valuable – here’s  a link to her Facebook page: http://www.visualtour.com/shownp.asp?t=2435302

Roxy had had a vaccination the day of our shoot and wasn’t feelin’ it for the pupparattzi so she didn’t participate in the group shots, but I got a few frames of her and she did not disappoint! You will never convince me dogs don’t change expressions…that said, who knew chihuahuas tongues are as long as their bodies?!
