Saturday, September 13 – a day I looked forward to all year – the best dog ogling in Western Washington! Harbor Hounds is put on by the Gig Harbor Mid-Day Rotary and raises money to benefit the many charities supported by the club. This year the Prison Pet Partnership was a primary beneficiary (it was fun to see my friends from last year’s Santa fundraiser ). If you are not familiar with their program, be sure to check it out. The Prison Pet Partnership vocationally trains the incarcerated to work with dogs – they train shelter dogs to provide assistance, and also offer grooming and boarding services to the public. Definitely a fantastic program! ANYHOO, Harbor Hounds is a dog walk with fantastic vendors, contests and plenty of fun. I just HAPPENED to have my camera along, and may have taken a few {hundred, like 600..} images of those who came out to support this fantastic event in beautiful Gig Harbor, WA. There were the regulars – see the Clumber Spaniels! and Miss Casey, whose portrait I make every year on her birthday ! and some new friends, from as far away as California and Utah! Please feel free to save photos of your pets (click on the image to enlarge, then right click and “save image as” on a PC) and share them (or this blog post). I would appreciate it if you do not crop out the logo, and credit the images to Four Foot Photography, as sharing with your friends gets the word out about my little business (explained very well by wedding photographer Jenna Leigh here). Enjoy the four foots and I hope to see you next year!

What a wonderful day it was. And the pictures are awesome, especially the one by your blog of our little beagle Brandie, and doxie Pee Wee. Thanks for making this your posted pic. Total surprise when I looked for the photos. You have a very special talent when it comes to pet photography. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Diane! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I am a big fan of the seniors, your furkids stole a little piece of my heart.
